FAQ
1.Why internal combustion forklift trucks are not allowed to coast with engine off?
Vehicles like internal combustion forklift trucks and heavy duty trucks are not allowed to coast with engine off because their braking system impacts only on the drive wheels. The braking force is relatively weak. More importantly, an internal combustion forklift truck adopts fully hydraulic steering system, which is almost invalid with engine off. In addition, coasting in neutral is also dangerous since it loses the control from the engine.
2.What can I do when my internal combustion forklift truck stop to work not long since it is started? How about the overheating of the engine?
Shut off the engine and restarted it after a while. Check if there is indication about overheating of the water tank. If it is so, check the water level of the water tank. If the water is sufficient in the tank, check the cooling conditions and the oil line.
3.What is the difference between mechanical and hydraulic internal combustion forklift trucks?
The difference lies in the different medium that they adopt for power transmission. Mechanical forklift trucks adopt mechanical parts like gear wheels, worm wheels to transmit power and motion. Hydraulic forklift trucks, on the other hand, adopt liquids to transmit power and motion.
4.What is an internal combustion counterbalance forklift truck?
A counterbalance forklift truck comes with a balance weight, usually a cast iron bulk, at the rear. The balance of the forklift truck is achieved by with this balance weight while the forklift truck is working. For other internal combustion forklift trucks, two stretched wheels must be equipped in the front to prevent the forklift truck from turning over.
